An Interview with Dantetone & Dannus
Dante or Dantetone is a freelance illustrator based in Jogjakarta. Grim visions irradiated aftermath with his vibrant abuse of color and shadow combined with darkly satirical characterizations form of Repka’s typically mix with Giant’s visual languages which is different cultures, women of languid and disturbing beauty, tribal insignia and allegories of of death. Dante’s artwork dance together on a single fascinating surface masterpiece.
Dannus Darmawan is a freelance illustrator based in Bandung. Takes inspiration from Albrecht Durer a German painter, printmaker and theorist from Nuremberg which is one of the most important figures of the Northern Renaissance. With pen, ink, and watercolor, self-taught, He has developed a style that’s equally recognizable as it is versatile, the beauty lies within infinite detail. Wolves howl, Creatures spawn and grim, and Black Metal culture. When daylights falls, the bleak visions and demented creatures sprung from Dannus’s imagination shall embrace principal of hell.
