The black candle burned slowly, casting its faint glow across cracked walls that refused to collapse. The existence of shadows is inevitable; they are born wherever light is not completely obstructed. It is there that traces are obscured and concealed. They demand a world of only black and white, as though gray had never existed. So let the shadows remain gloomy, yet forever haunting, for the greatest danger is not the darkness itself, but those who claim to be the only light.
