Starting from 2006, Echolight formed by four young men from Bandung, Indonesia. This project is a deviceful place to meet their affection in music. Ever since the beginning, Echolight composed their music and evolving as the time passes. Inspired by the flow of rock, shoegaze, post-punk and post-rock, the instrumental music becomes a form of submission and the interpretation of thier life experiences. Echolight are Fariz Halim, Gega Darmawan, Fendy Gustya Suwardana and Dito Setiasa. Echolight complement their music with different perspectives. These differences enrich the music and make specific traits for integrality of the band. Echolight are part of certain independent music scene community and have performed in several major cities in Indonesia.

Echolight has officially released the first singles containing two tracks: “MAD (Maturity After Depression)” and “Glare of Glowing City” in 2009, those tracks are shaped rock-style instrumental, shoegaze and post-rock. The Singles can be downloaded for free and has been reached for more than 5000 downloads spreading throughout the world.

Echolight have completed 11 tracks including 2 songs in the singles earlier to be documented in the first full length album. This album is a pack of stories of life impression and human nature, all wrapped up in one character we called Gianni Porto. This album will be released soon in 2013.
